Review: Dreams of a Dark Warrior (Immortals After Dark)

Title: Dreams of a Dark Warrior
Author: Kresley Cole
Series: Immortals After Dark
Genre: Kick Ass Chicks

Reviewed by: Vhampy

This is the ninth book in the Immortals After Dark series. If you have never read this series before then I must ask, "what are you waiting for????"

I absolutely adore this series! It contains your classic paranormal aspects of vampires, wolves (known as the Lykae), witches, and demons BUT this series also contains a kick ass paranormal element known as the Valkrie. These women are immortal and contain awesome powers. I consider them kick ass chicks!

This book focuses on my favorite female character Reign the Radiant and her search for a HEA. And let me tell you, this girl deserves it! She has been "cursed" for over 1000 years by not being with her true love. Every few hundred years her true love is reincarnated and sets out to find her. When they finally do meet and have hot monkey sex, her love dies within a few hours.

Dreams of the Dark Warrior picks up where the last book left off (AKA cliffhanger) and I was not disappointed. I love how Kresley Cole writes. She works humor into her stories in such an effortless manner and she really nailed it this time when writing for Reign. One of my favorite quotes from this book comes from Reign, who is using a "human" gun for the first time and she is up against some soldiers that are trying to kill her, "Let's rock out with our cocks out."

I won't give everything away but ONCE AGAIN we are left with a cliffhanger. It's ok though. I will be anxiously awaiting the release of the next book!

Long live Kresley Cole!!

A witch, an elf and a pixy decide to make a road trip.

No, this is not the beginning of a lame joke but the beginning of a great book. And I totally loved it!

In order to have her shunning rescinded and to gain her life back, Rachel has to attend the annual witch convention in San Francisco and defend herself for using black magic. But as she soon finds out, that´s not as easy as it looks. The Coven doesn´t hesitate to use all means necessary to stop her. After she finds herself on the no-fly list, Rachel is forced to accept Trent´s offer to ride with him through the continent. Trent has 3 days to complete a mysterious elf quest that he doesn´t wanna speak of and needs Rachel to protect him. And so the journey begins.

Chased by elven assassins trying to stop Trent and by the Coven trying to stop Rachel, every mile becomes a fight for their lives. As if the trail of dead bodies, wrecked cars and destroyed national monuments left behind was not enough, something unimaginable happens – a demon able to walk in the sun. And this time it was not Rachel who releases him, but Trent himself.

Ku´Sox was an ancient attempt of the demons to fight the elves. Created by genetic manipulation and demon magic, he had become so dangerous for every race that the demons were forced to use all their collective sources to stop him. And now he is released again and destroying everything.

I loved this book. It was the perfect combination of action-packed scenes and character development. Rachel starts to see the other side of Trent. In fact she is attracted to him more and more. Could he really be more than the politician, more than the powerful biodrug lord, more than a man not hesitating to kill in order to gain what he wants? Dare she trust him with her life? Risk everything – her home, her friends, her entire existence if she chooses wrong? And in the end, her final fate lays in his hands. But this time, nothing will be the same again.

This book was a roller coaster, not giving us a moment to catch our breathe. We see Rachel fighting the wild, dangerous and uncontrollable elven magic in order to save Trent´s life, trying to clear her name in the process and yet failing because of a person close to her and in the end she is forced not only to accept her true origin but fight hard to prove it. Rachel finally sees that nothing is black or white, in fact it never has been.

I loved that we could see more of the life in the ever-after and especially more about her demon teacher Al. We see his weaknesses and we see his loyalty to Rachel. It might be twisted and wicked, but it is loyalty nonetheless. To my greatest pleasure, Rachel also realizes that she and Pierce can never be together, that he will never accept her for what she really is. I never liked him anyway :-)

In the end, Trent gives Rachel the biggest gift – a possibility to choose her own path, without being forced to any direction. And she did choose. I might not like her choice but she deserved the chance. And knowing her habit of always getting into trouble, I have a feeling that the peace will not last long :-) And that´s what we all love about this serie!

OUR REVIEWS:

SONIA

Woohoo, Cat and Bones are finally back!!! We've been waiting for this for so long.. and once again, they have not disappointed. If you haven't read this serie yet, start it asap!! Trust me, you don't know what you are missing!

Even after Cat became a full-blooded vampire, she still has enemies claiming her to be a threat to the ghoul nation. A war is coming, a war like never before – between two undead races and Cat stands right between them.

Where do I start? Oh yes, VLAD IS MINE!!!!! *bursts out laughing* Just sayin.. I totally adore Mr. Hot Hands!!! Ok, now seriously.. (or not! LOL)

The book couldn't start better!!! Naked Bones in chains? Hell yes!!!!

And Bones was as sexy as always! "Ask me if I sparkle, and I'll kill you where you stand." was one of my most favorite quotes!

Cat's and Bones's personal life has never been better – as a couple, they are stronger than ever before. The first infatuation has changed to something much more deeper, no more drama, no more inner or outer conflicts, no more rushed decisions or fights. (Even though I have to admit I missed some of that, some of the previous tension between them was missing.)

Chapter 21.. *sigh* OMG, CHAPTER 21!! The motto „Cat bites back!“ really says it all!! Oh yes, we might have a new chapter 32, ladies and gentlemen!!! I surely won't look at candles the same way again :-)

I loved how Cat finally dropped her guard with Bones and told him how she really feels about him, resulting in one of the most heart-warming moments of this book.

„I am forever yours, Kitten, in this life or the next.“

The main storyline didn't grab my attention as much as the previous ones. Maybe I didn't feel the danger as much as before. I would appreciate more direct action I guess.

After meeting with Marie, the queen of New Orleans, Cat gets some surprising new ability that will cause the probably most embarrassing moments in Cat
's life and later one of the best scenes in the book including Cat and Vlad's and Mencheres's packages :-) We also learn about the previous half-breed and let's just say I didn't expect that history lesson!

One of the things I loved most in this book were the secondary characters. The girls here know that I absolutely LOVE Vlad.. *giggle* ..and I was enjoying every part with him (and of him.. *giggle*)!!! Beside Bones, he is the most intriguing character, cocky, with his wicked sense of humor and his loyalty to Cat. Once again he had one of the best quotes in this book where I was literally laughing out loud :-)

“What the hell was that?” I gasped.
“Premature inflamulation,” he replied. “Happens sometimes. Very embarrassing, I don't like to talk about it.”

Can't wait for his serie!!

And I also loved seeing Mencheres and Kira!! The scene when Cat and Bones arrived to find them „busy“ and later sitting all prim and proper drinking tea was hilarious :-)

I really liked this book!!! Jeaniene Frost did it again! I wasn't able to put it down. It is not my favorite NH book though, something was missing in this one, but it is still one of the TOP paranormal series I have read. The ending just left me with a huge smile on my face :-) Cat and Bones are one of my favorite paranormal couples, whether falling in love, fighting with each other or enjoying their mature relationship. Can't wait for the next book this fall!!! So my rating is 4* for the story and a half bonus star for Vlad and Mencheres :-)

MY RATING: 4,5*

MELISSA

Aahhhh... the much anticipated book five of Cat and Bones. I waited so long for this book it seems. :)

This Side of the Grave takes us pretty much where book four left off. Cat and Bones can't catch a break, as this time a war between the vampires and ghouls is brewing because of Cat's new "abilities". Masterless vampires are disappearing and they seek help from the Ghoul Queen of New Orleans to assist them, but at what cost?

Cat has really matured in this book. Whether that is a good thing is up for you to decide. Some people may miss Cat's sharp tongue and snark remarks, others may not. There is some typical Cat comments, so all is not lost because I personally love fiesty Cat. :) She does finally open up to Bones, which is long overdue in my opinion. It was actually a very touching scene. Bones has always been up front with his emotions and it was nice to have Cat attempting to do the same and thinking of him before she made any really rash decisions.

Vlad and Mencheres are the stars of this book, in my opinion. Both had memorable scenes and were just more involved in the storyline. They provided the comedic relief for this book. As a Vlad fan, I appreciated that. :) Mencheres really grew on me, too. I admit that he didn't hit on my radar until the the last couple of books. His own book, Eternal Kiss of Darkness, really provided the most insight into his character and personality and this book definitely embellished on that.

It didn't seem as if Cat wasn't as in immediate danger as the other books for some reason. I wasn't as afraid of the antagonist (trying to avoid spoilers) or the ghouls, as I guess I could have been. Maybe because C/B had such a good plan, it worked too good? I'm not sure, but something seemed missing.

I have to point out Chapter 21, as I am sure it is well spoken about now. It was very steamy, and would definitely give Chapter 32 of One Foot in the Grave a run for its money. Cat and Bones in the first chapter and in the garden also worth mentioning. They are just so great together. Definitely one of my favorite PNR couples.

There were a couple of surprises, that I am curious as to how they will effect the storyline in book 6. Overall, a good book. You'll laugh, and you might cry (so keep a tissue nearby). TSOTG might not be my favorite Cat and Bones, but still worth the read and I enjoyed it very much. Jeaniene Frost did a great job balancing the plot with the character development. Her ingeniously witty lines and writing style just make her characters all the more lovable. I highly anticipate book six, which is expected this Fall.

My Rating: 4.5 stars

Jessica

Since Sonia and Melissa have done such a good job reviewing the book, I'm going to keep my short and sweet. This will also save me the embarrassment of trying to top their reviews *wink*.

While I loved the book (because let's face it...it's BONES! That man in my eyes can do no wrong), I couldn't help but feeling like something was just off. I can't quite put my finger on it but something was just missing from this book for me.

Cat and Bones are stronger than ever and we see Cat finally (YAY!) let down her walls and fully open up to Bones, which was nice to see. I have to say that I missed their banter, and that sexual tension that's been in every book, was sadly lacking (IMO). But of course a certain little chapter COMPLETELY makes up for it.

We see a lot of Vlad and Mencheres in this book as well, which as you all know I'm a big fan of Mencheres so that's always a plus for me. And we get to see his more playful side.

Overall the book was fantastic. The humor was in full force with scenes making me *laugh out loud*, and even though the sense of danger/doom that I usually feel in this series was a bit lacking, I will forever be a devote follower of this series and anything new that Jeaniene Frost may come up with later down the road.

My Rating: 4 very big stars

Genre: Sexy Vamp, Hot Were

Review by Jackie

What if you had the chance to get even with the very one who hurt you? With the help of a Vampire and a Were, Christy gets to do just that. A victim of spouse abuse, Christy is beaten and left for dead. Sebastian (the name is Sexy, is it not?) is the Vampire who has loved Christy from afar, always keeping his distance out of respect for her marriage. But once he discovers that she lays dying, he is given the chance to prove his love. Turning her into a Vampire is the only way to save her and that is how Christy begins her new life. Wanting to give Christy every advantage with her new life, he calls on his Were friend, Matt, to share his powers and abilities with her. HOW he shares these gifts with Christy .. well, now that's worth reading for!!

"If she had to give it a name, she'd say that Matt smelled like carnal lust while Sebastian was outright sin."

I, for one, don't really care for threesomes but this one was different. The author takes great care in writing both the incredible HOT scenes as well as those that leave you saying, "awwwwww"! For the first time, at least for me, I honestly felt that the three of them genuinely cared for one another ... loved one another.

There are chapters in this book that are so HOT it will have you desperately trying to uncurl your toes while others will have you looking around for that damn box of tissue!

Review: Pride Mates

Title: Pride Mates
Author: Jennifer Ashley
Review by: Jessica

Before I tell you my opinion of the book let me first give you what's on the back.

To most, they are animals even when in human form. They are to be collared and kept on the fringes of society, scorned because they are feared, hated for their extraordinary powers. And attorney Kim Fraser has to go right into the heart of their lair.

It s her job to defend those in need. But theres absolutely nothing defenseless about Liam Morrissey. His soft Irish lilt and feline grace can't disguise his sheer strength. Nor can the silver chain at his throat, designed to control the aggression of his kind, completely reassure her that this man has been tamed.

Yet when a feral shifter begins to stalk them both, Liam is the only one she trusts with her life. She'll let him claim her for her protection, for her pride, and for a passion that knows no bounds.

MY THOUGHTS: In a nutshell, I really enjoyed this book. Pride Mates is the first in Jennifer Ashley's "Shifter's Unbound" series, which judging from this book promises to be a very fun, hot new series. I like the way the author took a different approach to the whole shifter world. Liam (the oh so sexy main character) and the rest of the shifter community must wear "collars" which prevent them from becoming too overly aggressive. If they start to "step out of line"they get a nice little SHOCKIE which isn't pleasant. They also are forced to live without modern technology and must live in segregated towns such as SHIFTER TOWN (ugh..yes that's right, the city is knows as Shiftertown....not very original and a bit too corny for my liking but that would be my only drawback about this book).

Liam and his family are Irish, and for those who don't know me, let me fill you in on a not so little secret. I have a certain weakness for Irish boys and their accents! Combine that with a little humor and you got one happy reader in me. Example? Liam likes to use "Top 'O The Morning To You", which makes me laugh whenever I see it. Cheesey to some....hot for me! Another, what could be a potential cheese factor, but I loved, was all the hugging that happens in this book. These shifters are very comfortable with themselves and eachother in their community and they show this by hugging....all. the. time.

The book is pretty straight forward without an overly complicated, hard to follow storyline, which again makes me one happy reader. It's quick. It's easy. It's hot. And I can't wait for the next installment. I can't wait to get my hothands on Liam's brother Sean!

Review: Mirrorlight by Jill Myles

Title: Mirrorlight
Author: Jill Myles
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Short story, HOT!

Review by Jackie

Cora is the lucky woman who is abandoned in a haunted castle in England and it is only she that can see the mystery man in the mirror. Aric, the name alone is HOT, just imagine the rest of him being trapped in a mirror. What would you do to touch this man, to feel his breath on your neck, to hear his voice?

"A man that had dark eyes and wild, thick hair and great shoulders. He had a massive span to his shoulders, almost like a wrestler, the thick triangle of his shoulders tapering down to a narrow waist with no fat on it, only ripples of muscle. The drawstring of his leggings hung loose, dipping below his navel and revealing a dark trail of hair that led downward, down to a rather explicitly large bulge in his leggings. Oh my."

This is a short novella by Jill Myles, and like her other books, this does not disappoint only in the fact that it is much too short. Jill always writes the most amazing, sizzling HOT scenes but at the same time manages to pull at your heart strings.

Rating: me likey-likey!

Review: Bonded by Blood by Laurie London

Title: Bonded by Blood
Author: Laurie London
Series: Sweetblood (Book one)
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Reviewed by: Melissa

This is the first book of Laurie London's new Sweetblood series. This story is between Dominic and Mackenzie. Dominic (or Dom as he is often referred to) is a Guardian enforcer who protects humanity against the Darkbloods, a group of vampires who kill like their ancestors. Mackenzie is a movie location scout who has a rare blood type (called the sweetblood by the vampires) that is nearly irresistible to them. Both Mackenzie and Dominic have their own struggles and losses that they need to overcome, as appropriate for most PNR romance. So, that's the simple summary. I am trying not to give any spoilers because for a new author, I actually enjoyed the book a lot.

Now, my opinion...

The good.... I loved both Dom and Mackenzie. The were both strong, smart, sexy and interacted very well with other. Although, the romance did take off pretty fast ( which was fine with me), I did sense their relationship grow along with the trust. The communicated verbally each others worries and fears and for that, the relationship seemed more genuine. The bedroom scenes were steamy and there was definitely a romantic and humorous side to Dominic. ;-) Mackenzie was awesome. She drives a motorcycle, and loves hello kitty. LOL. I love fun characters. There were a couple of side characters I liked, as well. The writing was good and flowed well. I found myself wanting to get back to the book many times and to me, that means it is a winner.

The not so good...There wasn't really a lot not to like. This does follow the typical PNR romance with a happily ever after and although it does have a slightly different take on vampires, you can only go so far with originality. Example being that the vampires are called Enforcers and Guardians and the work though an agency and they protect humans. I'm really stetching it here because I did like it alot.

Fans of Jeaniene Frost will probably like onjoy this book. Book two (Embraced by Blood) comes out in July 2011.

Review: Jacob's Faith by Lora Leigh.

Title: Jacob's Faith
Author: Lora Leigh
Series: The Breeds
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Reviewed by: Anna

For those of you who have not read the Breeds before, here's a short summary:
In a not so distant future - men, women and children are used in cruel genetic experiments to be created into what man thinks will be the ultimate assassin. Using the DNA of the strongest, most cunning animals known to mankind they thought they could create the perfect puppet to control. Cold, heart-less and without conscience.
They were wrong.

This series is HOT. Always have been and, I guess, always will be.
Unfortunately, Lora Leigh is very uneven in her writing in this series.
At least in my opinion.
The books prior to this one (with one exception) have been easy, thigh-clenching reads. Not so much with this one.

I would've liked to given you a short rundown of the story but I can't.
Because there was no storyline.
All we get to find out is that Jacob left Faith six years ago and now she can't get over that and has to bitch and moan about it every five seconds. Oh, and she's obsessed with her vibrators.
Can't . Stop. Talking. About. Them.
So she's in heat and is becoming a problem to their Pack. She gets tricked into finding Jacob in what she believe is in a business-related manner. It's not.
Let the horizontal mambo commence.
I don't mind sex scenes, I really don't. I say bring it!
These scenes on the other hand and the quantity of it - no thank you. The lack of finess, the constant repeat of the same words - page after page after page - let's just say I got bored. It's in the last 40 pages or so that you get a little more story - a new set of Breeds are prestented but that's about it.
And Jacob finally realizes that he loves Faith. Big surprise. HUGE!

Eww caused by: "The frothy, bubbling brew that seeped from her seared his flesh."
Poor girl. Her honey pot is not well.

Due to bad writing, lack of storyline and finess in this book, I give Jacob's Faith:

REVIEW: FIRST GRAVE ON THE RIGHT BY DARYNDA JONES

Author: Darynda Jones
Serie: Charley Davidson (book 1)
Genre: Paranormal Mystery

Reviewed by: Sonia

I picked this book because J.R. Ward recommended it and let´s be honest, the cover is cool.. LOL

This is a not an urban fantasy and not a paranormal romance and yet somehow it is both. But if I had to choose, I would say it´s paranormal mystery. Charley Davidson is a PI, a police consultant and the grim reaper. Yup, she is a portal that dead people use to cross over. She also remembers everything since the day she was born and understands every language in the world.

Charley is so sarcastic that you immediately start to like her. The book starts with a case of three dead lawyers, a lost kid and an innocent man in prison. Charley is trying to help her uncle with the investigation and is also trying to figure out why she´s having incredibly vivid and intense sensual dreams involving a hot mysterious stranger every single night. Is the man a ghost? A memory? Or is he something entirely different? As the story goes, Charley starts to discover the greater truth about her past and about her mission while trying to solve three murders and dealing with dead people all the time. The end of the book comes too fast and leaves us with a HUGE cliffhanger that makes you run to Amazon and check the release date for the second book.

And then there is Reyes. *sigh* Yes, you could not write about this book and not mention him. What could I really say about a non-corporeal being who gives Charley mind-blowing orgasms every night and can seduce her during the day in a room full of people.. He is HOT, with capital letters. And he is dangerous. And he has the tendency to rip off the spinal cords of people who try to kill Charley. But is he a protector or is he Charley´s greatest enemy? And what exactly is he? That´s the question of the day. Have I said too much? Believe me, there is so much more about him!

This book was like a fresh breeze on a spring day, fast-paced and easy to read, full of sarcastic humor and dead people :-) This is a really great start for a series that you won´t forget :-) The ending just left me wanting more and wanting it asap! So if you want something surprisingly different, you will not be disappointed!

Who are we and why we choose to blog.

Who are we? A group of amazingly intelligent and sexy women from all over the world who love everything about books. There are not many things that are better than the smell of a brand new book in our hands, the feeling when we first touch it and move our fingers over the cover, the excitement when we imagine the story waiting to be revealed to us, the characters we are going to meet (Yes, we consider our books as lovers).. Our drug of choice is the paranormal world, everything from vampires to weres, from angels to demons.. We just love immortal men! Yes, we are hardcore book nerds, proud of it and we want the world to know it!
And we are possessive about our men (especially some of us..) so be careful ;-)

Let us introduce ourselves!

Anna a.k.a. Mama Smurf - a 23 year-old (soon 24) Swede with an obsessive-possessive-personality, when it comes to my immortals at least. HEHEHEE.
Got seriously bitten by Paranormal Romance when I (by accident/faith) picked up
Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon a couple of years ago.
I've been fanged in the head ever since.
And by the way, Ash is MINE.
Anyway, when I'm not glued to my books I spend my days like every other girl; drooling over hot guys, spending time with friends and family, FACEBOOK, trying to figure out what to do with my short mortal life.
Right now I'm happy daydreaming my life away - my head is a very exciting place to be! Favorite daydream? My delicious harem; Ash, Wrath, Raphael, Bones, Bluebell, Rhage, V, Hawke - ALL OVER ME. Imagine that!
Favorite authors: J.R Ward, Nalini Singh, Sherrilyn Kenyon. They're geniuses and have written some of the best series ever made.

Sonia a.k.a. Mrs. Raphael - living an exciting life in a world where vampires and angels exist.. with several hot immortal men around me all the time living only to please me.. Seriously!! You don´t believe me? You better do! Real world is boring so why should I live THERE?! Pfffft...
You better don´t touch MY Vlad or MY Raphael or things get nasty!! Yes, I am one of the possessive ones! And I also claim Bones, Vishous, Wrath, Judd, Talon, Sin, Savitar, Vane and Damon Salvatore!
Coming from Slovakia where I´ve lived almost all my 29-years long life.. spending it with my books as often as possible.
Which series are my TOP? Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R.Ward, Dark Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Night Huntress and Night Huntress World by Jeaniene Frost, Guild Hunter and Psy Changelings by Nalini Singh.. and many others! My to-read list is neverending and always growing, especially after meeting my sisters :-) And I totally love it!

Jackie a.k.a. Akra - Being one of the older "sisters" in this most fabulous group of women, you will see that I don't have the patience for a bad book. Nope, won't even finish it .. will simply move on to the pile of "to be read" books that await me.

When I'm not busy fighting with Mama over MY Wrath and Acheron, I am always enjoying the company of my Sisters and meeting meeting new, bad-ass Immortals.

JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jill Myles and Nalini Singh are my most favorite mother-in-laws but I'm always on the lookout for hubby #5 so watch out girls!

Angie a.k.a. Miss Vhampy - My name is Angie but you may call me Vhampy or Miss Vhampy if you are nasty! I am a late bloomer when it comes to all the delicious things known as paranormal hotness. My life changed just a few short years ago when a co-worker mentioned a certain book series about vampires called The Black Dagger Brotherhood. My life was never the same.

I am so blessed to have found my Immortal Sisters and every day we share the love of books and our hot immortals. I love my sisters!

Some of my favorite series include, BDB, Dark-Hunters, Breeds, Demonica, IAD, and Midnight Breed.

When you read my book reviews you should be prepared for snarky comments. I based my love on books on how much I relate to a character's actions and how they make my honey pot feel. ;)

Jessica a.k.a. BARBie Girl - I'm a 28 year old stay at home mom of 2. Started reading later in life and have always been a sucker for a good love story. I started out reading Historical Romance before I was introduced to the world of PNR. So unlike some of my sisters here, you may occassionally find me reading a historical and/or contemporary romance. And I'm not opposed to a good YA as well. After all, it was Twilight who popped my Paranormal Cherry, so to speak.

Some of my favorite authors would be J.R. Ward, Jeaniene Frost, Jill Myles, Nalini Singh, Lora Leigh, Judith McNaught, Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux, Lisa Kleypas, Suzanne Collins and Dan Brown. And for anyone curious as to how I got the nickname "BARBie Girl", all you have to do is read Lover Avenged and/or Tempting The Beast, and your answer lies there. *wink*
As for my book reviews, you may find that I don't have that many, and that is because, well to be honest....I'm perfectly horrible at reviewing books! Couldn't summarize a book to save my life. To solve this problem I've come up with a great solution...I just base my reviews strictly on the HOTNESS of the book/scenes! I know, I know, not very scholarly of me...but hey, isn't that the main reason why we read Romance novels anyway? Or is that just me?

Melissa a.k.a. Blue Angel-
A 31 old from the great lake state of Michigan. I was introduced to the PNR world last year and has loved it ever since. My favorite authors are currently J.R. Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Nalini Singh and Jeaniene Frost. I am always on the lookout for the next exciting new author. I also enjoy historical and contemporary romance as well as some YA series, especially the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins and Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong. I am always up for new book recommendations! Vampires, shapeshifters, angels, it's all good! :)

Amy a.k.a. Gandy Goddess - When you read Bram Stoker’s Dracula at the age of 15, two things can happen, you get scared of vampires for the rest of your life or you became addict. In my case I became addicted to gothic books such as Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, Elizabeth Kostova and the vampire myth, Anne Rice was my favorite writer for years I still dream on Lestad biting my neck ….

One day by accident I found a book named Acheron on a bookstore and decide to buy it as my holiday reading, what happen after that book was the discovery of a whole new world of amazing writers, like J. R. Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jeaniene Frost, Nalini Singh, Larissa Ione, .. Who are able to create such magnificent characters, that help me to unwind my mind during the long hours it takes me all day to get to my boring job…..

Danielle a.k.a. Dani-

I am a 23 (almost 24 y/o) college student with very little time to read because of school and my job. I try to read as much as possible, but that is why I chose to only read 50 books this year instead of the 111 that my sisters had decided. I am new to the PNR world as well, I only started reading this genre near the end of 2009, and I started with BDB. I also enjoy historical and contemporary romance as well as some YA series. Immortal Men I love: Rhage, Vishous, Zsadist, John Matthew, Qhuinn, Blay, Kyrian, Talon, Wulf,Vane, Fury, Wren, Rayvn, Sin, ASH, Bones, Spade, Liam, Shade, Wraith, Lore, Zane, Patch, Daniel, Cam, Miles, Mace Brendon, Smitty, Mitch, Dmitri, Bluebell, Raphael, Venom. (yes I know, it's a long list, I like 'em BIG, haha)

So: I enjoy BDB, Dark Hunters, Demonica, Guild Hunters, Succubus, Shifters and Angels

Mary Beth aka Mrs. Gandy

I'm a mom, a wife and a lover of books! Once I read Twilight 3 years ago, I was hooked! I am in love with Rhage and Bones! Love them! I am so blessed to have met this amazing group of women. There is no judgement passed here and we all love our sexy immortals.
