Our favorite authors have been busy lately so we are here with some news today :-)

We have a cover for A Perfect Blood, book 10 in The Hollows/Rachel Morgan series by KIM HARRISON. It is much darker than the previous ones and we finally see Rachel´s face! It comes out February 21st in hardcover.

And why so dark? Maybe the blurb will tell you more :-) CONTAINS SPOILERS so don´t read if you haven´t read Pale Demon yet!!!

KELLY MEDING has a new cover too.. Wrong Side of Dead (book 4 in her Dreg City series) comes out January 31st.

And some quick news in the end:

• The sixth book in the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill will be Biting Cold. It comes out in September 2012.
•  If you are a fan of Shelly Laurenston, you´ll be pleased to hear that the next book in her Pride series will be out in April, it´s called Bear Meets Girl and it will be Crust and Cela´s story.
• You probably know that Keri Arthur has a new series - Dark Angels. First book, Darkness Unbound, comes out this September, second book Darkness Rising in October and now we know that the third book´s tentative title will be Darkness Devours and it will be released in early 2012.
• And unfortunately we have also some sad news - the author L.A.Banks has passed away this week. She will be missed!

MIDNIGHT BREED NEWS!

If you are a fan of Lara Adrian´s Midnight Breed series, than you probably know the date June 28th - the release date of the 9th book in the series - Deeper Than Midnight.

The book is not yet out and Lara already gave us a pre-release gift - the cover of Chase's book and Lara's hardcover debut, Darker After Midnight!!

Lara has also recently signed on to write another two books in the series, and there will also be an exclusive, e-book original novella coming out later this year. Woo hoo!!

Tohr´s book!!

J.R.Ward announced on her Facebook page yesterday the official title of Tohr´s book!! It is...

LOVER REBORN

and it is absolutely perfect!!! It´s coming out end of March/beginning of April 2012.

If you love Darynda Jones and her book First Grave on the Right as much as I do (you can find my review further down on this blog), you´ll be excited to hear that Mrs Jones has given us something goooood! A free short story that will hold you over until Second Grave on the Left.

The story is called For I Have Sinned and it is great!

This time we see the events from the other side (pun intended), from the point of view of a young woman who just died and meets Charley. The story is again funny and easy to read and we meet Reyes!!!! If not for any other reason, it is soooo worth reading only for him!! Haven´t you read First Grave on the Right and you don´t know Reyes? Let me introduce..

He leaned against the doorjamb, arms crossed over a wide chest, a breathtaking grin tilting one corner of his mouth. But he was different. Dark. Fierce. The air around him seemed to stir as though he were turbulence itself. And he seemed to be made only partially of flesh and blood. The rest of him was smoke and shadows, and the mere sight of him, the magnificence of him, weakened my knees.

~ Simply put, he was stunning. Thick black hair. Full mouth. Piercingly dark eyes with long, inky lashes. And quite possibly the most devilish grin I’d ever seen.

I finished the short story in no time and the only thing I didn´t like is that it is.. well, too short! And trust me, you´ll want more!!

Just as a reminder (I am sure all of you who have read the first book already know this), book 2 comes out on August 16th. Don´t forget to write down the date of Reyes´s return!!!!

VLAD!!!

If you love Vlad from Jeaniene Frost´s Night Huntress serie as much as I do (and I love him VERY MUCH as the girls here can confirm.. LOL), you will be thrilled to hear that Jeaniene confirmed that our adored man will get his own SERIE!!! How exciting is this?! YAY!!!! This news kept me on an adrenaline high for a week!

The only other thing we know is that the heroine´s name will be Leila and the first book comes out in 2012 :-)
